Stock storage
Your stock can be delivered directly into our warehouse, it is very easy to set up. You give your courier company our address, you give us their details and we will liase with them with regard to dates and times. Once the stock has arrived and been checked, we will contact you with the total amounts received and any damaged items.
Sometimes when goods are coming from abroad the packaging may be damaged, this doesn’t always mean the goods inside are damaged, but on arrival at our warehouse, the boxes will be counted and any boxes damaged will be opened and the contents checked.
Once we are satisfied that the delivery is correct, your boxes will be stored in either our long term storage facility or placed on racks ready to be picked and packed for orders.
A log will be kept with the exact count received, along with the time, date and the name of the courier company who delivered. (This is sometimes useful for any queries that may arise with regard to damaged or missing stock)
Depending on the products you are selling as to the packaging that will be required to dispatch the items to your customer. We can advise you on the best packaging, be it a strong envelope, a jiffy bag, a T mailer or a box, we have all these items in stock or we can order specific sizes in for you. We have the advantage of being able to negotiate the best possible prices so it is highly likely that we can source them at a cheaper rate than you are able to buy, saving you money.
You would need to decide if you wish to use Royal mail or a courier company to deliver your items to your customers, often this is decided by the cost of the items, as now Royal mail pledge to deliver items either by 24 or 48 hours, this is of course seasonal and at busy times this can sometimes take longer, but we have found in recent times that Royal mail is sometimes the best option.
